This is welding rod in ECTFE, a partly fluorinated fluoropolymer that is stiffer and harder than the other fluoropolymers and stands up to aggressive chemistry. The rod is used to join and seal seams when ECTFE sheets and linings are put together.
We have no data sheet of our own for the welding rod itself, so we put no measured values on this item. Instead we point to the general chemical tolerance and stiffness of the grade. ECTFE welding needs a narrow temperature window, so it should be done by an experienced hand.
The rod is supplied in natural and is fed into a hot air welder when fluoropolymer layers are to be joined tight, for example in the lining of steel tanks. Do you need technical documentation? Call us directly.
