    Sheet in PVC U is a stiff structural sheet in rigid vinyl plastic without plasticizers. It suits tank building, ventilation ducts, fixtures and signs where you need chemical resistance and dimensional stability.

    PVC U has a density of 1.44 g/cm³ and takes up to 60 °C continuously. Moisture absorption is low, 0.2 percent at 23 °C and 50 percent relative humidity, so the sheet holds its dimensions steady in damp environments too. The material carries fire rating UL 94 V-0 from 1 mm without flame retardant additives.

    PVC U takes acids, bases, salt solutions and most water based chemicals, but not aromatic or chlorinated solvents, ketones or esters. It can be welded with hot air and PVC welding rod, and glued with PVC adhesive. At temperatures below -20 °C the material becomes more brittle.

    The sheet measures 2000x1000 mm and is black, which makes it a practical choice for covers, signs and parts in chemical environments.
