This is a sheet made of PA6 E FR, flame retardant extruded polyamide 6.

The material is semi-crystalline and has a melting point of 221 °C.

The density is 1.18 g/cm³ and the moisture absorption at 23 degrees and 50 percent relative humidity sits at 2.8 percent.

The yield strength is 80 MPa, the elongation at break 5 percent and the tensile modulus 4000 MPa.

The fire rating is UL 94 V-0 from as little as 0.75 mm and the glow wire test GWFI sits at 960 °C.

The continuous service temperature is 95 °C and 160 °C for short periods.

Suits cable ducts, insulators, interior parts and technical components in rail vehicles, subway cars and other environments with high fire requirements.

The plastic can be sawn, milled, turned and drilled with tools meant for engineering plastics. Sharp inserts give a cleaner surface when milling. Moisture affects the dimensions, so let the material rest in the workshop climate before the finishing cuts.

This particular sheet in PA6 E FR measuring 3000 x 620 mm in the color black, suits fire critical parts in rail vehicles, subway cars and industrial cable ducts. Cut to size on request.
