Adjustable Feet SF70F is a series of leveling feet in nylon PA6 with a knurled base and a felt covered underside, built for equipment and lighter machinery that has to stand steady without scratching the surface underneath. You adjust the height by turning the knurled base by hand; no tool is needed. The threaded screw is in zinc plated steel and the plastic part is black with a matte surface, a combination that blends in on most things standing on a bench in a workshop or a laboratory.

The series covers five versions that you choose directly on the product page. The foot diameters are 15 and 25 mm, the threads M6, M8 and M10, and the screw lengths reach from 16 to 47 mm. The height of the base is 13 mm whatever the version, so the foot builds low even on small equipment. With the shortest screw the foot almost disappears under the enclosure, with the longest you get a serious adjustment range for skewed benches and floors.

The felt on the underside is the distinguishing detail of the series. It protects painted sheet metal, laminate benches and wooden floors from scratches and lets the equipment be pushed into place without catching on the surface. For scales, measuring instruments and other sensitive equipment the felt also contributes some damping against the table, even though it does not replace a proper vibration damping element when the demands are higher than that.

PA6 is a tough and impact resistant engineering plastic that takes both screw torque and daily handling in a workshop environment. The knurling gives a secure grip even with gloves or oily fingers, and the matte surface hides fingerprints and small marks. The zinc plated steel screw handles a normal indoor environment well; in wet spaces or with chemical exposure you should check the corrosion protection against the manufacturer's data sheet before you decide.

Mounting is uncomplicated. The screw goes into a threaded hole in the bottom of the equipment, into a welded in nut or into a threaded insert for sheet metal. Lock with a nut against the enclosure once the height is set, and the adjustment stays put even if the equipment is moved or takes a knock during transport. If several units have to stand level next to each other, for example a row of dosing units on the same bench, you level them with a spirit level once and then lock all the feet.

Typical uses in Swedish industry are instrument cases, electronics enclosures, control cabinets on a bench, weighing and dosing equipment in laboratories and smaller bench machines in assembly. Designers often choose this type of foot when a piece of equipment is to stand on defined points instead of resting directly on the bottom of the enclosure. Three or four leveling feet take up the unevenness of the surface, and the equipment stops rocking.

Choose the version starting from the thread that already exists in the bottom of the equipment, and then take the screw length by how much adjustment range the structure needs. The larger foot diameter of 25 mm spreads the load over more area and suits heavier equipment or soft surfaces, while 15 mm is plenty for small enclosures where space is tight. A good rule of thumb is at least one thread diameter of engagement before the foot is loaded. The feet are supplied in packs of 100 to 500 pieces depending on version, which suits series production, and full dimensions for each version are in the manufacturer's data sheet.
