PMMA laser protection windows

We at PlastShop.se are delighted to present our first laser safety window, with item number P1800000. This window is made from PMMA, a material that absorbs laser radiation, providing effective protection.

Properties and Standards

This laser safety window has a light transmittance of 18 per cent, providing good visibility through the window. The material is CE-marked and complies with the requirements of EN 60825-4. Standard sizes are available, but we can also offer bespoke solutions up to a maximum size of 3000×2000 mm.

Protection Areas and Application

The protective window provides broadband protection in the near infrared (NIR) range from 1064 to 1100 nm (class OD6+) and protection in the red wavelength range from 630 nm to 656 nm (class OD4+). What laser types are best suited? This particular window is especially suitable for use with Nd:YAG or fiber lasers.
