PFA is a fully fluorinated fluoropolymer that stands up to practically every aggressive chemical and holds for 260 degrees without a break. The roll goods are the same extruded PFA layer supplied on a roll, meant to be laid as a lining in tanks, ducts and vessels where the steel carries the load and the plastic takes the chemistry.

The material takes temperatures all the way down to -190 degrees without turning brittle, and in impact testing it fractures neither notched nor unnotched. The density sits at 2.15 and the material starts to melt only above 305 degrees. The dielectric strength is 33 kV/mm, so the layer insulates electrically as well. PFA can also be welded, which pure PTFE plastic cannot under normal conditions, and the material is approved for direct contact with food to FDA.

The roll is supplied in natural, that is to say uncolored PFA. The format suits you when you clad larger areas and want to avoid joints, for example inside a pickling plant or an extraction duct. If you need an exact width or length we cut the roll to your dimensions.
