A Sheet in PC LF is transparent polycarbonate with an antistatic and abrasion resistant coating on both sides. LF stands for electrically conductive. The surface leads static charge away, which makes the sheet suitable in environments where sparks or sensitive electronics are a problem.
The density is 1.2 g/cm³. The tensile strength is 60 MPa, the elongation at break 110 percent and the modulus 2 200 MPa. The impact strength is so high that the specimen does not fracture. Abrasion according to Taber 100 cycles, 500 g CS-10F gives less than 5 percent added haze.
The surface has a resistance between 10⁴ and 10⁸ Ohm. Vicat B/50 is 150 °C and HDT/A 1.8 MPa 135 °C. The maximum service temperature is 115 °C continuous. The thermal expansion is 65 x 10⁻⁶ per kelvin and the thermal conductivity 0.21 W/(m·K). The light transmission for a 3 mm sheet is above 70 percent and the haze below 3 percent.
The surface has to be grounded for the static to be led away. Use PC LF for protective windows, screens and hatches in environments close to electronics, for example around safety hatches, instrument glazing and parts where static discharge has to be avoided.
This sheet in PC LF is 3000x2000 mm in transparent, a format that suits both large surfaces and parts that are to be cut to size.
Sheet in PC LF 3000x2000 mm transparent has an antistatic coating and has to be grounded in 3000x2000 mm, a standalone option in the range. The format and the finish of Sheet in PC LF 3000x2000 mm transparent make the sheet suitable when you need exactly this variant.
