A bare steel tube is not a handle, it is just a tube. Handle grip HG35 is a push-on grip in TPE (thermoplastic elastomer) that slides over tube ends, levers and bow handles and makes them comfortable to work with, day after day. The elastomer grips the tube by its own tension, with no glue and no screws, and the grip surface does not feel slippery even with gloves or damp hands.

HG35 has an outside diameter of 35 mm and a length of 140 mm. The hole comes in two versions with an inside diameter of 30 or 32 mm; you pick the one closest to the outside diameter of the tube straight on the product page. The color is black and the surface glossy. The material is TPE throughout, a rubber-like material that is injection molded like a thermoplastic but behaves like rubber in the hand. It gives a little when you grip it, and that small amount of give is exactly what increases the contact area between hand and handle.
